About Us

Our Operations Depot is ideally situated near Staples Corner, in North West London, very close to the North Circular Road and M1 motorways. This geographic location enables us to provide rapid response teams to service with ease; the entire inner perimeter of the M25 and much of the outer perimeter M25 counties such as Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex.

Our History

SQS™ quickly established a foothold within the industry with an initial 1999 turnover of £1.8 million. Following market saturation in the Construction Industry the sector experienced a dramatic down turn in trading in early 2000. We were, however, able to ride this recession due to our adherence to quality and commitment to customer service. This dedication to quality is supplemented with an effective management structure which enables us to handle the most demanding of projects and sustain our commitment to standards of the highest quality.

With an extensive, experienced and loyal workforce enriched by ongoing investment in training, plant and vehicles we have further enhanced our pedigree by successfully winning contracts from a wide range of major utility contracts. e.g. Three Valleys Water.

To date the success of SQS™ is reflected in increased turnover and a consistently full order book.

Our Current Position

We continue our crusade to achieve corporate growth without compromising on the quality of our service and work.

In order to cope with the rapid expansion of our company, in the past year we have expanded our workforce to over 300 employees. In keeping with our core values of service excellence and continual investment, we remain vigilant and are keen to employ individuals with the right attributes to take the company to the next level.

As part of our strategic plan we have invested heavily in new plant and Vehicles (Pavers, Planers, Rollers and HGV’s) and we now have Operators Licenses for over 130 vehicles. The establishment of a depot in Essendon to serve Veolia Water has further extended our scope of operations.

Ever conscious of the environmental world we live in and moreover, the pressures within the industry; we have developed our "green" credentials, by establishing a spoil recycling plant at Scratchwood Quarry to minimize all waste going to landfill sites. This will lead to costs savings, thereby creating a "Win-Win" for all parties concerned.
